    Gorgeous pics – I love it, from an aesthetic standpoint, when you get ice like that. Actually having to do things in said ice? Less appealing.

    My favourite was the first one, by the way.

      Oh, it actually wasn’t too bad on the hoarfrost day. The temps were at about 30F, and the sidewalks were clear. Now, the next day — that was treacherous! (see the next post)
