I am so behind, that I missed the One Local Summer deadline for this week. Oh well. Instead of catching up with a bulleted list, I will catch up with photos.

Chard tart and salad

When you have too much borage, make borage lemonade!

Ahuva curious about the solar oven
The sun is finally out, so time to use the solar oven. So far, we’ve used it to make granola, cheese and chile muffins, and curried lentil and sweet potato stew.

    I’ve never seen a solar oven before. Very nice. Of course we don’t get a lot of the hot sunny weather here.

    Hi Unstranger — You actually don’t need heat as much as direct sun rays. But isn’t Ireland lower down than Minnesota? (that’s where the solar oven manufacturer is, not us) — I have to go check a map!

    Oops! I was completely wrong — Ireland is much higher than most of the US
